I am considering buying a home or condo for my 2 sons who are at the same college with 3-4 years to go. What are some tips for securing a place that we can either re-sell or continue to rent? They will recruit two other students to help with rent. Is a home better than a condo? Old or new better? The location is Charleston, SC.

This has been discussed on the commerical board, since dorm rentals have there own problems (profit soltions) and value added possiblities. High off season vacan. rates and high maintenance.
