I am currently deployed with the National Guard and I am saving up to possibly 15,000 to 20,000 while I am gone. I have good credit. Last time I checked I was at 630 or 650, it was a while ago since i’ve checked. When i’m done with the deployment I might be going back to a minimum wage job. I want to get a decent duplex that could cost up to 400,000 or 450,000 and then get tenents. Would it be concievable for me to buy a duplex with at least 10,000 down and I can also get a VA home loan to cover the opening and closing costs?
