Broker helping buyer with closing costs - Posted by lboone

It all depends on what needs to be done & how badly he/she wants the deal. I’ve had brokers pay for old liens, repair broken faucets, have septic tanks pumped, discount commissions, & even hand-scrape peeling paint off a patio cover. I buy each one a bottle of champagne after closing, & am generous w/referrals. I also bring their secretaries personal gifts @ Christmas & candy on 14 Feb. Probably most important of all, I try to not waste anyone’s time, & don’t make them work for me if I can’t do my part to make a deal happen. A good agent/broker is near priceless–

Can a broker help a buyer with closing costs by way of cash loan or donation?

Thanks in advance for your help!
