in CA you can quit claim it if the ownership share are they same (e.g. I own 100% of property and 100% of llc) tax free even.
as for “rental properties”, watch out for holding multiple properties in 1 LLC. it waters down the asset protection / liability shield.

I have set up my first LLC that I would like to own my rental properties in. What is the best way go about transfering ownership to the LLC? Is it possible to do so without a personal guaruntee? I have encountered conflicting information about this on this bulletin board.
