Hi, anywhere is a good place to start. all education is valuable even the negative side helps us learn. In real estate you can never have too much learning. Carlton is great and so are the others. go for it.
Greetings All,
A friend had the book called
Real Estate Investments and How to make them by
Milt Tanzer. Is this a good startup book or would I be better off with a well known person like Carlton Sheets or Russ Whitney ? suggestions please, Thanks
Frank,
I believe Real Estate Investments and How to make them is/or was the course study book for Realtor’s to obtain their CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. Please anyone out there correct me if I’m wrong. This book was recommended to me by a very successful CCIM realtor in our market a few years back and has been a very good source of information on almost any form of investing in real estate. This is an outstanding reference book I have referred to numerous times in my investing career
I read this book years ago but I remember it to be especially good. It was one you would want to keep as a reference book and reread again…which is what I may do now. Thanks for the reminder.
Good Luck!
MM
