You’re almost a year away from advertising. There is a learning curve that can be shortened, but not eliminated. Very expensive “real estate seminars” paid for by losses due to our mistakes can be made less expensive by learning from the experience of others.

Joe Kaiser has an article in the How-to section titled, “How to Get on the Same Page as the Sellers.” This will illustrate the questions.

If I were to advertise that I buy houses, and got some calls, what kind of questions do I ask to figure out if they are motivated sellers? How do I know if I am getting a deal, besides knowing my market? Thanks!!!
