Hi, all…
Is any one familiar with the Beacon program through Graystone Mortgage? I believe that they are run by a man named John Alexander…Apparently they are a company that purchases seller’s notes, at a discount. They offer a business opportunity where you make a commision on putting buyers and sellers together with their notes, etc… It sounds great, but I would like to find out if anyone else hs had any experience with them…

Thanks

Interesting this comes up. I was in here last week, commenting on Carlton Sheets, collecting info from folks in here, emailed a few and one fella sent me his Graystone site. I would also be interested about peoples’ success and failure with this. I’m always willing to absorb helpful information.

I have had a deal funded by Graystone. It was put together by my “regular” mortgage broker. Didn’t cost anything extra as they were paid by Graystone so I received the same amount as if I went directly through them. I liked this better as I then had “local” contact. They permitted us to use our regular appraiser and their speed in closing the deal I would rate as average. They DO NOT table fund the deal. Not that unusal, but you do have to wait 48 hours for your money and on the first deal with them it does have you thinking. Yes, they did close.

I have no experience with them acting as their broker in the program you are referring to.

Hope this helps.

Bob

Thanks bob for this post. I do the beacon program in Las Vegas, and offered the program several times on line here. I do not wish to advertise as I know it’s against policy on this board.

I am an associate of GrayStone Mortgage, and what we do, I couldn’t say it any better.

Yes we work through Mortgage brokers, Realtors and Individuals. I buy and flip homes using their money. The program works.
