Dick, thanks for the response. Yes, the owner is still in the house.
I also learned that there is another 10K lean on the property. Something doesnt line up on this one it seems like.
The banker told me that 54K (auction bid) is the only lean, no others. My realtor had a title company run the title check and he told me there was 2 leans… one for the purchase price (in 1998) for 92K, and another for 10K. I dont understand where the bank came up with the 54K.
ANYway… looks like I’d better leave this one alone, since I dont know much of what Im doin.
Where in Michigan are you Dick? Are you a lender? Investor? Im wondering cause I need help getting started and dont have much for connections yet. Thanks
