If your contract is assignible, it would be a good idea to give the title company some notice so they can draw up the paperwork for your buyer, and cut you a check. It’s outside the seller’s sphere of influence at this point.

question,

i’m the buyer of a property. the seller chose the title co. do i need to give the title co. the name of the individual i am assigning a contract to prior to closing or can i simply show up w/ my contract assignment and say here is the name and soc # of the buyer?
