You need to check your state law on that one. If you are the sole owner of the corporation, then you might be ok as it might not be cosindered an assignment in your state. If it is a REPC done by a realtor in the state of UTAH all REPC are assignable unless stated othwerwise. As for basic concept a contract is and asset and all assets are assignable.

can you assign a contract that does not specifically say “and or assigns”? it is a general contract that i want to assign to my corporation as opposed to putting the property into my personal name.

According to the LeGrand courses I’ve taken all contracts are assignable unless it is specifically stated that it cannot be assigned.
