Amend, just like Amen!

Doesn’t sound like it’s needed, but remember this rule: the more attention to your Articles, the more they’re amended and worked, and the more your minutes are kept updated, the more obvious it is to anybody that you’ve really used the corp, and it’s not just a phony co.

So the time and attention you give it, by amendments, minutes, etc., the more protection it might give you at a time when needed.

My articles of incorporation was filed in September of 2002. However, I did no business in 2002. I’ve not held any meetings either. I am starting my business now. Do I need to amend my article of incorporation to reflect starting in a different year? Thanks for taking the time to respond.
