I used to buy the houses directly from a retirement home here. The couple would give everything to the home and live there for the rest of their lives…“Christian Buehler Homes”. Anyway, they started listing them with Realtors after that, and in my recent inquiry, they told me they no longer accept real estate, only cash ! LOL

I was just thinking thru the life cycle of a home owner.
1 BUY YOUNG
2 RAISE FAMILY
3 PAY OFF HOME
4 RETIRE
5 GO IN NURSING HOME AND LIQUIDATE HOUSE
6 KIDS SPEND INHERITANCE
It seems like # 5 is a golden opportunity, but how do you find out who is moving to nursing home or otterbine. Is that published somewhere? Any ideas.
