abandoned properties? I come across it on different properties from time to time and was just curious. I imagine the city/town puts it there.

I’ve seen where the city marks abandoned building with FD and a circle with a slash. This means that the buidling is unsafe and if there is a fire the firemen are NOT to enter that bulding because:

  1. its abandoned and nobody is there
  2. there are structural problems that could endanger the firefighters.

I’d recommend that you not enter those buidlign either for your own safety.
