Anyone in CT working with the Carelton Sheets Program??? - Posted by Chris M (Hamden, CT)

Seriously, what someone is making in Real Estate investing is not relevant…and can be misleading. For example, what if Dave said he gets $200 a month spendable cash flow a month? That might sound like its not worth it to you, but maybe that helps Dave pay his debt down a little quicker, or helps him save for a vacation for his family.

In addition, what if he said that he makes $100,000 a year? Does that mean that you will do the same? Of course not…

As for Carleton being “a scam”? He is not a “McCorkale” if that’s what you mean. Get his program, reading through the ENTIRE manual, listening to ALL of the tapes… if you aren’t satisfied - get your money back. For less risk, find a program for sale on Ebay… you won’t get the money back guarantee of course.

Is there anyone in CT that has the CS system? How has it worked for you? Your first deal? Frustrated? Tell me all about everything you know about it. I am motivated and need input on it. Thanks. P.S. - Ive owned the course for 2 years and am really getting into it now.

Thanks.

Chris,

I got your prior e-mail in response to a post I made titled “The Basics,” and I’m wondering if you read that post?

The reason I ask is that you’ve asked for success stories working the CS program (especially in CT), and from my meager two to three month learning process, it’s my impression that you work your OWN program, no matter where you are.

It seems that either you work it, or it doesn’t work at all.

I guess what I’m trying to say is gurus like CS just provide information (my prior post says how BASIC Mr. Sheets really is), and it’s up to YOU to digest that process, learn a few others (read all the articles & posts on this site as a start), and come up with a business plan that YOU can make work.

I value every dime I spent on the Sheets program (and more the time I spend at CREOnline), but my current real estate “deals in the works” are not strictly from the CS course or strictly from any other source either. They are a blend of all that I have learned so far - and I still have a lot to learn, so I’m excited about the future, too.

I don’t have a success story to tell you, because my stuff is all still in the pipeline, but people EVERYWHERE are successful in Real Estate Investing. You just have to realize that you have to make your own bed before you can sleep in it.

I hope this helps. Get out there and learn and just do it! Stay in touch, CT brother!

How Much do you make in a day, week, and year and how do you know it isn’t a scam for money?

Jason,

Jeff has some good points, although he’s a lot more harsh than I would have been.

I’m pretty new to this stuff myself. I have four deals in the works but I won’t make any money until I close on any one of them.

Sheets isn’t a scam, because I have the course and I’ve done it. It’s a start, and there’s a lot more out there, both in materials and in learning.

If you’re interested, take Jeff’s advice. Sheets is NOT the BE ALL AND THE END ALL for real estate investing, or financial wealth.

You are.
