I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience or opinions on vacation rental property as a cashflow investment. An example of what I am looking into would be a condo on/near the beach in Florida. Any advice/info would be appreciated.

I own a vacation rental in a mountain ski area in So. Calif (Big Bear). We listed it with a management company and were told to expect in rented 80 nights per yr. They advertised, cleaned, collected rental, etc for 35% of rent. We found that adverising online by ourselves was much better. We fired the management company and now have it rented much more often via the internet. Good luck.
