I know that the junkers at the tax sale get bid way up in Petersburg VA.
Try it, couldn’t hurt, just set a minimum bid price.

Let me first comment that in my area the auctions are crazy. People are bidding up to market value on a lot of the properties with the intentions of appreciation I guess.
I buy junkers for a living and was thinking of holding an auction and advertising it in the papers right next to the foreclosure auction postings. Has anyone tried this to wholesale/retail a property that needs work? And if so…how was the result? Thanks in Advance!
