You know …strange thing about Albuquerque, I dont remember seeing one single mobile home there. I suppose you could find them on the outskirts of town.
I can however, offer some advise. The west side of town is growing like mad. Many new homes and condos. The county built a new jail on the west side also. At that time is was like going on an expedition to get there but I dont know what it’s like now.
The east side of town is commonly refered to as the “combat zone.” I dont think I need to explain that…just may be a good idea to stay away from that area unless you are able to find something you could move out.
My best guess is that south of town would be a good area to look at.
I didnt have much time to look around while I was there two years ago, I spent six weeks in Albuquerque on a mission from god. I’m back in Ohio now and I dont miss the old man I left there.
Anyway, hope this helps some.
Good luck.

I am a newbi on all fronts. I purchased land in NM and plan to move there in the near future. I was thinking MH might be a good way to start investing. Is anyone doing MH deals in New Mexico who can shed some light on this particular market place. I am planning to get Lonnie’s book but was curious about New Mexico area.

I bought 40 acres of ranch land for personnel use in a town called Magdalena 2 hours south of Albuquerque in Socorro County. I would like to look for investment property or mobile home deals with in a 2 to 3 hour radius of Albuquerque and the same radius of Socorro County.
