My dad went to the weekend seminar. He called me, sounds excited! He is gonna share the info with me. He will have to read, read and reread it! My dad just got online and I have givin him a this website to get more information and share ideas! He is disabled (accident@ work) he has time to really get into Real Estate and I am looking forward to doing this with him. He bought alot of books over the weekend and said that there will be people & meetings on Monday nights to help him. Maybe it a RE Club? I will get more information. I am in TX. He is in CA. I really like this board because I have been reading it for a couple of months and enjoy all the different approaches and ideas… I think it great to have so much support!

Has anyone read any of this man’s books? Any of you attend a workshop? Heard of him but, all I can find online are books that he has written. He is in Calif. speaking and thought I would attend. I looked thru the catalog here and found many others. Went to one of these before, the whole night was spent trying to sell information. Any info would be great. Thanks
I have attended a seminar where he spoke for 30 minutes or so. Just let me say I was very tempted but did not buy. He has some products, just as most folks do (and I probably will in the future). The question to ask, I think, is "will the knowledge I gain be worth it to me in the future.
I learned enough in a “free seminar” where folks were offering their packages, that I took their insights and recently brought home a check over $12K with none of my money into the deal. It was zero cash from me.
I just purchased a package from these same folks and felt disappointed, initially because I thought “there is nothing new”. WRONG! One tip on one page in one of the manuals is worth the cost of the entire course.
Al Lowery may or may not deliver that one nugget for you. My shelves are packed with various training packages. My suggestion is to be careful not to spend “investing” cash for products that you could learn the same info from this board or from your local investment club members.
Good investing. If you attend, let us all know what you think about the quality.

Helen:
I have some Albert Lowry Books, and one also one in how to be a successful landlord. He goes in depth to show how to make money and how to cosmetically upgrade (the areas that increase the value) that is great.
I am most impressed with his materials and have learned quite a bit from his books. Most of all it teaches win/win.
