Every state is different, of course, but here’s the view from my state’s Real Estate Commission (Colorado) - so long as you are paying simply for leads and the lead generator is only providing the information, it’s ok. If the website that provided you the info does any kind of listing, negotiating or other traditional “broker” functions, then it would be prohibited.

The bottom line, of course, is to check with your state licensing commission to see what their position is.

can i pay a flat fee to affiliate companies on web that don’t have real estate license? I’m real estate broker and want to get more leads this way, please let me know, these people don’t have real estate licenses but also aren’t speaking with clients we end up closing with, they just post my info on their website
