HUD has a website, I’m sure you can find something there. One of the benefits of working with HUD is the same as benefits of working with Section 8…you are gauranteed to get you’re money every month (the portion they pay anyway). And I would imagine for the individual it will be easier for her to come up with the small portion she has to pay since she has assistance from HUD…again insuring you get your money.

I have a 4 unit quad…had a lady approach me today about renting a vacant unit. She said she has HUD vouchers and that they pay a large portion of her rent. I am not familiar with HUD’s renter program. Any advice?? I am not exactly keen to rent to her, but want to get some information about the program and rules that accompany it.
