Actually, and depending on the campaign, that’s not
a lot of money to spend each month.

Most of the larger directories/engines have moved to
a “pay-per-click” model. You can target your exact
audience, buy top positions on Goto.com and get some
great results.

Goto.com feeds Lycos, AOL, Netscape, Alta Vista and
several other directories.

To be very competitive today, $500 per month is not a
lot to spend on SES/SEO.

Can another broker please give some good advise on where the bulk of my advertising money should go? My current ad campaign looks like this–
1500 month on cable ads(tv)
200 in bulk email
zero in newspaper
zero in retail office(i work from home)
500 this month only for search engine submissions for website
400 this month only on real estate signs

We do home loans and real estate for the general public near Los Angeles CA. thanks.

$500 on search engine submissions? That’s insane! I hope you got the top position on 50,000 search engines for that price!
