Do you know if the pager feature requires that you have an alpha/numeric pager?

What would it cost if I left my computer running all day in order to utilize my fax. I have it on my computer and instead of buying a fax machine I was wondering what it actually costs to let the computer run all day?

Any ideas?

Mary Francis,
While the cost of letting your computer run all day will be small, what if the power goes out, you run out of paper, or the software crashes?
Rather than deal with any of that, just goto one of the FREE online fax/e-mail/voicemail services and sign up.
There are even some that use TOLL FREE numbers, so your fax senders can fax to you 24/7 for FREE.

Check out Ureach.com for one good service.
I have it, and it notifies me where ever I am when I get a message, whether it be a fax, a voicemail or an e-mail.

HTH,
Jim IL

Look at the back of your computer for a label telling you its power usage in watts. Multiply that by twenty-four. Divide the product by 1000. Multiply that result by the kilowatt per hour charge on your electric bill.

Add the appropriate taxes.

The result will be the daily cost of running your computer all the time.

Why don’t you go to:
Efax.com and get a free fax number.

It’s never busy. Costs you nothing. And never
runs out of paper
