A buisness name, or just your name? - Posted by Kyle (AZ)

I decided to place my business name on my business cards, though it is at the bottom of the card and not in as big as font as other text on the card.
I structured my business card just as Lonnie suggests in his books. “Buy / Sell Used Mobile Homes - Will Finance” at the top, “No banks, No hassles”, “Flexible Terms”, and my name, phone number, and business name at the bottom.

I am getting ready to start doing some Lonnie deals and I was wondering if people preferred to use a business name, or to keeping it more personal and just you?re your own name on your business cards. I have both of Lonnie?s books, in it doesn?t cover this. I?m sure you could do it ether way, I was just curious as to what other people are doing.

My thinking is that a lot of people would rather do business with a private owner then with an actual company. They think that they are getting a better deal that way. I think a lot of the lower income population, with not so great credit, will skip over my ad if they think I am a big dealer. Anyway, what are your thoughts?

Thanks, Kyle

PS, does Lonnie use a business name?
