I like to share that we just signed our first Lease Purchase deal! The entire deal was negociated over the phone, and it got better at signing! The numbers are as follows.
Option Price: 120K
Rent: $475
Term: 24 (at the beginning!) They asked if they could extend for 2 more years to collect the extra $100/month between my rent and their mortgage.
FMV: 129,750
FMR: $800-$900
We have a lot of people to thank for all their help, so here goes! Pat Boone, Bill Bronchick, Joe Kaiser, JPiper, Scott-AK and many others, especially Pat for many hours on the phone giving advice and listening to me complain! For those of you out there that have not made your first deal let me tell you can do it, it is easy and fun, and this is the best place to get started at! This is not the biggest money maker in the world but it better than doing nothing!!!
The best part is they have referred me to friends of theirs that are interested in making the same deal!
