I grew up in Sydney Australia and studied Marketing & Economics. When I graduated I decided not to go the traditional route of getting a job and started my own marketing consultancy for small businesses. After a few pivots and some mergers with business partners I was able to grow a tech company to over 300 staff with shareholders like New Corp, Ellerston Capital and Right Click Capital. I started to diversify why I was building this company and purchased 6 Single Family rentals in different parts of Australia. After 14 years building my company it was time for me to move on. I sold some of my shareholdings and moved my family to New Orleans. Here I started a business that buys houses direct from distressed home owners who need to sell their house fast. I then flip the houses or hold them as long term rentals. A triplex is the largest property I own but I want to start getting into larger scale multi-family properties. I joined this community to expand my knowledge base and connect with like minded people.
