Si, pero, yo soy en Broward, yo tengo que a estudiar mas Espanol. Yo tengo muchos preguntas en Espanol.

My spanish speaking is as bad and as strained as my spanish typing, I have such a rough time when I begin a car ride of 1/2 hour or more…it decision time. Do I listen to tape 3 of “Learn Spanish while your drive”, CD 21 ot of 36 of Ron Legrand’s material, tape 3 from Lonnies package. I have been slacking on the Spanish, but I do try to use it every chance I get…which is every convienence store, as a matter of fact, just about every place I go I can practice my spanish.

Fireants story… - Posted by William Bronchick

I went to Univ of FL in Gainesville for 3 semesters in the early 80’s. I recall being locked out of my room after taking a shower, then walking outside barefoot in a towel to climb in the window. As I stand there in the dirt prying open the window, I noticed a burning sensation on my feet. I look down in horror as I am covered in fireants up to my ankles!

@!#%&!!@@!!

Boy has much of south Broward changed in 20 years. Were you around in Hallandale or Hollywood back then when it was basically God’s waiting room for 80 yr old retirees from the northeast? I even once lived in Daytona for a few years. No spanish spoken there but you have other negatives that too me are an even bigger turnoff. I do feel many coming to Florida in this latest gold rush will be sorely disappointed and go back home either to find real jobs, reconnect with old family and friends or escape the six months of humidity hell that is about to start.
