That would depent on how good a job the agent did on the purchase and if you liked him/her. The better relationship you have with you agent the better deal you will get. If I was working with you on buying a house, (which cost you nothing, seller pays on a listed house)than I would discount the commission if you used me to sell it.

IF the agent helps you buy, they get paid. What you need are deals from them and access to MLS (sold comps). Pay them for the access if you need to.
