My lives in Saginaw, Fort Worth Area, his taxes have skyrocketed causing his PITI to exceed what he originally qualified for in 3-4years and he needs help. He is behind $4K and wants to know what recourse he has. Taxes seems to appreciate 10-15% per year.

here is the real question:

Is the current assessment above market value? If not, then stop complaining and pay the taxes. If it is above market value, file a protest, and gather your evidence.

I have properties in TX which are assessed at half of their real values, and others which are assessed pretty close to real value. The various counties are different in their approaches, and in their need for tax revenue. Gregg County (Longview) is the most aggressive I have seen.
