Rather than recommending an attorney, I can refer you to the Los Angeles County Bar Association at (213) 627-2727. Ask to be referred to the attorney referral service.
Alternatively you can call the Long Beach Bar Association at (562) 432-5913 and asked to be referred to a lawyer. I do not know any lawyers who are members of the Long Beach Bar Association and I suspect that the panel at the LA County Bar is probably larger.
You should also consider checking any names you receive from either of these associations or from someone else with the State Bar of CA by logging onto its web site and running each lawyer’s name. This will give you a little background info.
