who did her more of a disservice, me or her sugarcoating “friends” and family who allowed her to go 25 YEARS while paying someone else’s mortgage? Some “meany” should have opened her eyes a quarter of a century ago!

This morning my housekeeper came to me for advice. She has apparently been renting a house for 25 years and the owner recently sold it. The new owner has given her notice that he is not renewing the lease and she has to move. I asked her why she has been renting for 25 years. She said she never wanted to buy a house. I got a blank look when I told her, “Rosa, you DID buy a house, except you bought it for somebody else!”.
