You have really raised my ire. You want the people of this forum to advise you on how not to pay a legitimate debt so you can gain. What do you think happens when you do not pay your debts? Prices increase, taxes increase, rates increase…the increases never stop. Do the right thing. Pay for the mobile home. It is not the lender’s fault it is a single wide mobile home and in bad shape. It is yours.

Hello,

My question is I have a mobile home that is on 3 acres of land that will be deeded to me this spring. What I plan to do is let the mobile home go back because it is a single wide and in bad shape. Then sell the land. Can Origen who is the lender place a lien against my land if they find out I owe it free and clear? It will be a reposession because it has no deed that is the mobile home. Should I homestead the land?

Thanks

Unless you actually LIVE there you CANNOT homestead…they put you in HUntsville for doing things like that.
