Go to www.irs.gov and search for a “Tax ID Number”. There are specific citations for non-resident aliens.

Hello,

I am not a US citizen, no social security number, etc. I am looking to purchase property in the US and create a business presence, but do not want to gain citizenship or go through the process of gaining citizenship. Is there a structure or strategy existing that could help me in my situation? Also, will Patriot Act limitations reduce my ability to obtain a US bank account even if I were to establish said structure?
