Taking a loan to buy farm lands oversea - Posted by Chicago guy

Hello,
I wonder if anyone know how to take out loan to buy income producing farm lands aboard (if that’s possible). My family is planning to start a rubber business. We have identified potential rubber farms, found workers/mentors, and have product distribution channels. We actually have enough cash to fund the project but I think it would be great to take advantage of the very low interest environment. All my family members live aboard where we are going to start the rubber business. They have been in textile business for decades. This is just a new business venture that we’re interested in. I’m the only one who lives in Chicago. I own a few properties and have very good credit and strong cash flow income. Is it possible to get some kind of loan that uses the farm land as collateral and maybe with personally guaranty (if need be)? SBA loan? I hope I’m not asking in the wrong forum. Any advice is very appreciated.

Patrick,
I might be able to help you secure the financing for your project. Send me some info on it.
