Did the deed record or was it a contract for deed? In either case, something should have recorded establishing your position. Did you get title insurance? Since you now have the former owner threatening your rights you may have a claim under the title policy.
Seller trying to take house back after I bought and fixed up.
My tenant has scheduled to move out because of the former
seller meddling and telling her I don’t own the property.
She fraudulently conveyed the property from the trust back
to herself and I found out about it and reversed it and
added a lien to the property.
Never dealt with anything quite like this before.
Anyone have suggestions.
I have about $15k invested and need to recoup my investment
and make a profit.
