I went to the REI Club locater and did not see a club for the San Jose, CA Bay Area. I was hoping that some of the people from this group might be interested in getting together and forming one.

If you are interested e-mail me regarding the possibility. My e-mail address is pittmanft@yahoo.com.

Thank You

San Francisco sounds like a good central point. When and where?

I live in Sacramento and have the Carlton Sheets course. I would be willing to drive to San Jose if you get a club started.

Good Luck,
Gabriele

Sacto would be an easier place for you to get started. concentrate there. Just my opinion.

Why not the Investor club in San Francisco? Every first tuesday of each month.

Sacramento is not a few minutes from the Bay Area. Although Sacramento might be one of the places for the group to invest, it might not be the best place to meet due to the distance. The determining factor is going to be the location of the majority.

San Jose is the area that is in need of like minded investors pooling together. People in this immediate area are being handed pink slips like they’re tissue in record numbers and there are more to come. The market is shifting here and it would be nice to have a REI Club positioned to benifit from the fall-out. Sorry if you happen to be one of the recipients of a dot com, y2k, millennium pink slip but it is the truth. The market is going to become very competitive for those that know what to do at a time like this. The person or group with the best foundation, and financial backing is going to win. I would love to see that to be us.

I certainly would rather attend a REI club in the Sac. area, since I live here, but… I haven’t been able to find an existing club or other people that have more experience than me in real investing. Anyone out there that any ideas, please email me.
Thanks, Gabriele

I live in Sac Area (Folsom). The nearest club I’ve found other than the Bay Area is Reno. Given traffic in the Bay Area expecially San Jose, Reno can be closer. I haven’t attended any meeting but would be interested. I’ve owned the Sheets course for 3 years and have just picked it up once again about a month ago.
