Ivan: The 7 properties under one LLC are all at risk in the scenario you have described. You may want to only have 3 or so properties per LLC. This, of course, is a judgment call on your part. Garrett

I recently set up a LLC in CA… in the process of setting up my land trust and making the beneficiary my LLC… my question is… we have 7 rental properties… they are going under the LLC? Is there a way to seperate all properties under the LLC. incase I get sued they only go after one not all 7?? I know the mentioned… SMLLCs. does that work in California…
