One common method is to generate a separate agreement for the rental of a certain appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc). I’ve also seen “appliance maintenance agreements” that charge an extra $50-$60 per month.

Keep in mind however that depending on the culture of your specific S8 office, these agreements may be perceived as a violation of the terms & conditions of the contract.

One caveat to keep in mind is that you will NOT be be able to evict a tenant on the basis of their failure to perform with these contracts. In spite of their promises to pay…I can almost guarantee you will not see a dime 9 out of 10 times.

My advice is to go open market if you really want $850.

If want to charge 850 for a SFH and the persons voucher is limited to 736 (including both the tenant and govt part)is there any way around this that you know of?
