Hi all,
I am looking at trying to find a private investor for a small RE purchase loan ($25k). Can anyone recommend what types of questions I should ask? I was contemplating running an ad in the local paper but I do not want to start giving out info to just anyone who calls as they may not be legit. Got any suggestions how I should handle this?
Also, any suggestions on wording the ad?

If you are anywhere close to Atlanta, check with the folks at Georgia Real Estate Investors Association (www.gareia.org). As you may know, Atlanta has about 5,000 investors and many have money to loan. If you are located closer to Macon, contact the Macon Real Estate Investors Association.
If you live elsewhere in Georgia, you might want to contact a real estate attorney or real estate CPA. They often have clients who have more money than they know what to do with.
Just some thoughts.
