What should I do since ours was set up that way? Do I need a lawyer, or should I approach the company that structured the S-Corp first? I appreciate your help. Thank you Garrett.

Thanks for the info but still a little confused because this is what NCH told us. An LLLP can generally own the shares of an S Corporation if the General
Partner is the “principal” of the S Corporation and that persons Living
Trust is the Limited Partner of the LLLP.

No, an S corp cannot be owned by a LLLP. It is that simple. Good luck, Garrett
