If you do know his/her SS #, it’d be simple matter to find the SS site and check to see if this number is still current…as it’s pulled within a day or so of the holder’s demise.
Ergo, if no active number, no living owner.

Hello everyone.
I am a joint tenant in properties with an older, estranged family member in poor health. It is a right of survivorship tenancy.
I wouldn’t expect that I would even be notified of this persons terminal illness, let alone death. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I might easily track a person’s dying besides looking in the obituaries everyday?
Would appreciate hearing from any and all.
