Hi folks,

I’m trying to anticipate a question a seller might ask on a lease/option deal. I will be asking for rent credit. Now the question is,

Seller: “Why would I give you any rent credit?”

How would you respond to this? I know why but I just can’t seem to find the correct words to use.

Any suggestions?

Answer something like this :
Mr or Mrs Seller the rent credit is given in exchange for my taking responsibility for ALL maintenance issues.
