I am interested in finding or starting a local club for beginners (or newbies), in the middle of the mitten.

Having a {local} informational support network would be a great help to all that become involved, I think!

The only thing that comes close locally, is the local Landlord Association and that is a very closed ‘good ole boys’ group.

Anyone here from Michigan interested?

I am also a newbie and I have found Real Estate Investors Associaton of Oakland (county). They have a web-site www.reiaofoakland.org. They have meetings every 2nd Thursday of the month and some seminars on Saturdays. They are having one this weekend, Nov. 4th regarding buying and repairing houses by Robyn Thompson. Maybe I’ll see ya there!!
