You were unjustly enriched by their error. pay them back. we all make mistakes. if the situation were reversed, and they owed you $488, would you just walk away from it. or would you raise he11 about it??

Another mortgage company paid my taxes for 2004 in the amount of $488.00 by mistake and are now asking to be paid back. Do I have to pay them back since I did not ask them to pay them. I live in Hocking County Ohio. Thank you.
