While there may be some bar ass’n that is for RE lawyers, if you’ll call a couple of the biggest law firms in your town/city and ask to talk to one of the lawyers in their RE section, that lawyer will tell you if he/she/they can handle your problem.

If they can’t/won’t, they’ll probably give you a referral to a lawyer who they think could do it.

I’m looking for a real estate attorney who specializes in
construction defect litigation with experience in prescriptive easements and land
use agreements. Are there respectable professional organizations or accreditations that may help guide me to someone with this experience?

Chris,
See a board certified commercial trial lawyer in the biggest firm in town. They can handle this and will have their RE attorneys advise on the technical stuff. Get a written quote letter and then go to another large firm and get 2d opinion letter. You’ve just knocked the two biggest firms out on conflict of interest( in case you need to). Get a third opinion (if necessary) from a smaller com. lit. firm. Choose the one you feel best about.
Construction defects litigation is very specialized so if that’s the major part of your claims then focus on that type of litigator. He/she will get assistance on the RE issues. Sounds like all three issues arise out of the same transaction so should (not always) be tried together. Good luck!
