I found the quote in the signature of a message in a programming site I frequent. I only found CRE recently and haven’t read the archives much. It just seemed so apropriate for this forum.

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated failures.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

Charles,

I like this little piece. As a matter of fact, if you go to http://www.creonline.com/real-estate-financing/wwwboard6/messages/6929.html, you will see that I shared it last month on June 17th.

I’d still like to thank you for sharing it again. You can never have too much food for thought. I share these “Thought for the day” I think that this type of thinking can become contagious at first, and then hopefully habit-forming.

As Henry Ford so eloquently stated, Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.
