I am not an attorney. In this scenario, you would be considered the contract owner. Just make sure that if you sign a contract with someone else that you disclose that you are not yet the owner. See an attorney for the proper wording.
Is there a problem with offering a property for sale with owner-financing once I have the property under contract? Do I actually have to close on the property before I can offer that type of deal?
