I live in Oregon and have been helping homeowners in foreclosure for years. We now have a new state law that prohibits us from not laying out fees in the beginning. However, our title company states they can’t take any more transactions from us because of how the law is written us. Is anyone else had this experience. They want a legal agreement between us and the seller because if not there are stiff consequences. Any suggestions?

Suggestion: do what every good citizen should do and complain to your elected representatives. It is even more effective as a group (rei groups, etc.). Good luck.

agreement and laying out all expenses and fees. Should not all parties be able to know exactly what they are responsible for, what the other party is responsible for and what it is going to cost before agreeing to anything? Isn’t anything else at least deceptive?

I was actually referring to finding a lawyer to help draw up paperwork and knowing exactly what should be included in the document.
