mls…has anyone paid re agent to get at home - Posted by chris

I know this could be done with a license or a re agent, but I would spend hours researching props on it, so has anyone had success paying an agent for access at home? I am in western pa and this would be invaluable to me. Any suggestions?

The only person who can pay an agent for any real estate related activity is that agents broker. So if you are not that agents broker you can’t pay him or her (legally).

I found this ad by going from creonline’s home page, to clubs, to inidiana to the cireia club to their sponsors page yesterday. It seems to give you somewhat direct access to MLS. I have not decided if it is worthwhile or not yet:

I know Ed knows but was just going too fast to state this exactly right…the layman might lawfully pay, but the agent could not lawfully ACCEPT any comp or commission that didn’t go first to his broker.

If I knew any agent in my shop would ever even consider doing such a thing, he’d be out the door in about 2 minutes with his license in his hand…as I’d want no legal monkey business on MY license and my agents are going to do everything exactly according to the book or I don’t want them.
