Sounds like you’ve got the form you want for becoming an owner/princiPAL of the property.

Of course you’d want that form notarized if you wanted to record it in deed records.

Hey gang, I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for researching how to properly make yourself a principle in the transaction for a lease option deal? (I am not a realtor) Currently I market to homeowners to sell on a lease option, I have a one page form that says they will lease option the property to me and I have the right to assign my lease option to someone else. I think this is the proper way to do this, however want to know if anyone has any places I can verify or research this or has any opinions on ways they have done this?

By the way, I am located in California
