Among other documents, you will need a power of attorney relating to the house, an extensive disclosure statment such as Joe Kieser’s Best Darn Document on the Planet, or whatever he calls it. It’s in the How-to section. There is more, but I am at my day job now and don’t have my list with me.
Are you closing at a Title company? If not, you will need additional docs.

I have a follow-up appointment with a very motivated seller; want to do a subject-to transaction. I have the sales and purchase contract, and an authorization for release of loan information. What other documents do I need? I searched the archives but could not find much. I know I am at least 5-6 documents short. Please advise what other documents I need! Thanks for any responses!
